Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Support Agent to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a background in sales, operations, and banking/lending, who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. You’ll play a key role in supporting the sales team, streamlining operational processes, and ensuring a seamless experience for clients throughout the sales cycle.

Job Responsibilities

• Customer Interaction: Respond to customer enquiries and provide timely and accurate information regarding our products and services.
• Order Processing: Ensure all sales orders are processed efficiently and accurately, coordinating with relevant departments to meet customer requirements.
• Sales Coordination: Assist the directors in scheduling meetings, preparing sales presentations, and managing sales documentation.
• Database Management: Maintain and update customer databases, ensuring all information is current and accurate.
• Lead Generation: Compile and manage lists of potential clients, assisting the sales team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
• Reporting: Generate and analyse sales reports, providing insights and recommendations to improve sales performance.
• Administrative Support: Handle various administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and managing correspondence.
• Policy Management: Oversee the implementation and management of company policies, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Expense Management: Track and manage expenses, ensuring accurate reporting and adherence to budget guidelines.
• Investor/Advisor Liaison: Act as a point of contact for lenders and advisors, managing communications and follow-ups.
• Invoice Management: Chase up invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Onboarding: Assist in the onboarding process for new clients, lenders and investment partners.
• Enquiry Follow-Up: Follow up on enquiries, ensuring timely and effective responses.
• HubSpot Management: Track all communications in HubSpot, ensuring data is accurate and up-to-date, and maximizing the use of the platform.
• Outreach Support: Assist in email campaigns and other outreach activities to engage potential clients.
• Client Onboarding: Manage the onboarding process for new clients, including AML policy and KYC procedures.
• Diary Management: Manage the diaries of the sales team, scheduling appointments and ensuring efficient time management.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in sales support, banking/lending, or financial operations
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Outlook)
• A customer-first mindset with a professional and approachable manner

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales support or customer service role.
