Description

We are looking for an experienced and driven Credit Controller to take ownership of the accounts receivable process, manage a portfolio of customers, and help strengthen the company’s overall credit control function. Working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment—ideally within the tech or similar sector—you will play a key role in improving cash flow, reducing aged debt, and building strong relationships across departments and with clients. This role is ideal for someone with a strong collections background, a proactive mindset, and the ability to resolve payment barriers quickly and professionally.

Job Responsibilities

  • Full ownership of the end-to-end accounts receivable process.
  • Proactively chase overdue invoices via phone and email.
  • Log non-payment reasons and track client promises to pay.
  • Negotiate and manage payment plans where necessary.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Billing, and Service Delivery teams to resolve customer issues preventing payment.
  • Keep internal teams informed of payment performance and drive accountability.
  • Maintain detailed case histories for accounts and support next-step decisions.
  • Participate in credit risk reporting, analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Recommend credit limit reviews and assist in collections strategy.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience working in B2B credit control, ideally in the tech industry or a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record in managing aged debt portfolios and achieving cash collection targets.
  • Experience handling outbound call targets, direct debit collections, and managing your own ledger.
  • Knowledge of defined credit policies and implementing collection strategies.
  • Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite ERP and/or Salesforce.
  • CICM (Chartered Institute of Credit Management) qualification is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

Essential:
– Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and finance systems.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Strong customer service orientation and negotiation abilities.
– Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.

Desirable:
– Experience with NetSuite and/or Salesforce platforms.
– Strong analytical and reporting skills.

Benefits & Perks

  • Be part of a growing credit and finance function with real impact.
  • Work in a dynamic, fast-moving company with cross-functional collaboration.
  • Competitive salary, development opportunities, and a supportive team environment.

Working Type: Onsite
