These Job Terms (“Terms”) outline how ScaleShore Consulting (“we”, “us”, “our”) manages job applications, candidate submissions, recruitment processes, and contractor engagements on our website and through our services. By applying for a role, submitting your CV, or engaging with us regarding any opportunity, you (“you”, “candidate”, “contractor”, “applicant”) agree to these Terms.


1. Purpose of These Terms

These Terms outline:

  • How we store and use candidate data

  • How we manage submissions to clients

  • Expectations for candidates during the recruitment process

  • Terms relating to contract roles and engagements

These Terms apply to all roles including permanent, temporary, contract, project-based, remote or on-site positions.


2. Candidate Responsibilities

By applying for a job or submitting your CV, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, honest and up-to-date information

  • Not misrepresent your skills, experience, eligibility or identity

  • Respond promptly to communication from our team

  • Attend interviews, assessments or screening as arranged

  • Notify us immediately if your availability changes

Any false or misleading information may result in your application being withdrawn.


3. Data Protection & Privacy

  • We will store and process your personal information in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.

  • Your data may be shared with our clients only for relevant job opportunities.

  • We will never sell your information to third parties.

  • You may request data deletion at any time by contacting us.

4. CV Submission & Talent Pool

When you send us your CV:

  • You give us permission to retain it in our secure talent pool

  • We may contact you for current or future opportunities

  • You may update or ask us to remove your CV at any time

CVs must be your own work and submitted with your consent.


5. Job Listings & Role Descriptions

  • Job postings on our website or partner platforms may change or be removed without notice.

  • Listed roles may be closed early, filled, or paused at the client’s request.

  • Descriptions may not include every aspect of the role and may be updated as needed.

We cannot guarantee that all advertised roles are still available at the time of application.


6. Submitting Candidates to Clients

By applying, you acknowledge that:

  • We may share your profile, experience summary and CV with the hiring client.

  • Submission to a role does not guarantee an interview or placement.

  • Clients may request additional screening or documentation (ID, right-to-work, references, technical tests).

  • We cannot control client hiring timelines or decisions.


7. Interviews

  • Interviews may be online or in person.

  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the correct equipment, access and preparation.

  • Missed or repeated no-show interviews may affect your current or future applications.


8. Contract & Temporary Roles

If you are applying for a contract or temporary position:

  • Engagement may be subject to a separate Contractor Agreement

  • You may work through your own Ltd company, umbrella company, or PAYE depending on the role

  • Payment terms, rates, hours and deliverables will be clearly stated in your contract

  • You must comply with IR35/UK contracting regulations where applicable

You must not undertake contract work without a signed agreement.


9. Compliance & Right-to-Work

Before placing you with a client, we may require:

  • Proof of identity

  • Visa or right-to-work documentation

  • Proof of qualifications where relevant

  • Background checks (where legally required)

You must ensure these documents are valid and up-to-date.


10. Candidate Conduct

Candidates must always act professionally, including:

  • Respecting client confidentiality

  • Not contacting clients directly unless instructed

  • Avoiding any discriminatory, abusive or inappropriate behaviour

  • Maintaining professionalism during interviews and work engagements

Failure to comply may result in removal from consideration.


11. Offer Letters & Engagement

A job offer is only valid when:

  • Issued formally by the employer or client

  • Confirmed in writing

  • Accepted by you in writing

Verbal discussions do not constitute a binding offer.


12. Withdrawal of Job Offers

Offers may be withdrawn if:

  • Background checks fail

  • Documentation is not provided

  • Candidate misrepresentation is discovered

  • Business circumstances change

We will notify you as soon as reasonably possible if this occurs.


13. No Guarantee of Employment

Submitting your CV or applying for a job does not guarantee:

  • An interview

  • Placement

  • Employment

  • Future opportunities

We will, however, always treat your application with fairness and respect.


14. Website Use & Intellectual Property

  • Job content and descriptions on our website are for informational purposes only.

  • You may not copy, distribute or republish content without permission.

  • You must not misuse the website or attempt to interfere with its functionality.


15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Job Terms from time to time.
