These Resume Submission Terms (“Terms”) outline how ScaleShore Consulting (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles CVs, resumes, professional profiles, attachments, documents and any information submitted by candidates (“you”, “your”).
By uploading or sending your resume to us through our website, email, job portal or third-party platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Purpose of These Terms

What you consent to when submitting your information
How long we hold your information

These Terms apply to all CV/resume submissions, whether speculative or for a specific role.
2. Candidate Consent
By submitting your resume, you confirm that:
All information you provide is accurate and truthful
You grant us permission to store and process your CV
You agree that we may contact you regarding suitable opportunities
You authorise us to create a candidate profile based on the information you have provided
You have obtained consent from any references listed on your resume
Submitting a resume does not create an employment relationship.
3. How We Use Your Resume
We may use your resume for the following purposes:
Assessing your suitability for open positions
Matching you to future roles within our talent pipeline
Sharing your profile with clients who may be interested in your skills
Contacting you for interviews, screenings or clarifications
Verifying experience, qualifications or identity where required
Internal reporting or compliance (in anonymised form)
We will never use your resume for unrelated marketing or sell your information to third parties.
4. Sharing Your Resume With Clients
By submitting your resume, you agree that:
We may share your resume, experience summary or skills profile with clients
We may anonymise your CV before sharing, depending on the stage of recruitment
We will never alter your resume without your consent
We will inform you when submitting you to a specific role
Your resume will only be shared with clients when there is a relevant job or opportunity.
5. Data Protection & Privacy
We process your personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.
This includes:
Secure storage of your resume
Restricted access to authorised personnel
Encryption of sensitive submissions
Removal upon request (unless legally required to retain)

6. Resume Storage & Retention
Your resume may be stored in our secure talent database for:
Up to 24 months, or
As long as you remain actively engaged with us
You may:
Update your resume at any time
Request that we delete your resume
Ask to know what information we hold about you
We will comply with all legal retention rules.
7. Accuracy of Information
You agree that:
The resume you submit is accurate, complete and not misleading
You will promptly update us if any of your details change
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your resume content
False or misleading information may result in removal from consideration.

Resume/CV
Cover letters
Portfolios
Proof of certifications
Right-to-work documents
Project summaries
Case studies
You must ensure that:
All documents are your own
You have the right to share them
Sensitive personal data is shared only when necessary
9. No Guarantee of Employment
Submitting your resume does not guarantee:
An interview
A job offer
Placement with a client
Any specific outcome
We will, however, treat your application with fairness, confidentiality and professionalism.
10. Prohibited Submissions
You agree not to upload or send:
Irrelevant or harmful files
Malicious software
Deceptive or fraudulent documents
Confidential information belonging to previous employers without permission
We may block or delete harmful submissions.
11. Candidate Conduct

Not contact clients directly unless authorised
Act respectfully and transparently throughout the process
Unprofessional behaviour may affect your eligibility for future placements.
12. Withdrawal of Consent
You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing:

Upon withdrawal:
We will delete your resume and associated data
Unless retention is required for legal/regulatory reasons
You may no longer be considered for roles unless you resubmit your CV
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically.
The “Last updated” date will reflect the latest version.
Continued use of our site or submission of resumes after changes constitutes acceptance.
